Zero Tolerance Policy
With the addition of 24 hour access, the Bradford County Branch YMCA is adopting a Zero Tolerance Policy. If you are caught not abiding by the following YMCA Policies, your membership privileges will be revoked and no refunds will be given. These policies are in place for everyone’s safety and enjoyment of the Bradford County Branch YMCA at all hours of the day.
As a member with 24-hour access, you may use the Bradford County Branch YMCA at any time. The building will be staffed at the following times:
Monday-Thursday 6:30 AM – 8:00 PM Friday 6:30 AM – 7:30 PM Saturday 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM Sunday 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM. After YMCA Staff members leave in the evening, there will be no YMCA Staff on hand to monitor the Bradford County Branch YMCA.
Guests are only allowed in the building during regular business hours when a YMCA Staff member is on duty. No guests are allowed outside the times listed above. If you are caught bringing guests in the building after regular business hours you will lose your membership privileges and no refunds will be given.
24-Hour access will only be granted to those who are ages 18 and older. Members violating this policy will lose membership privileges and no refunds will be given.
Lockers Rooms will not be accessible during non-business hours (The single restroom is available near the multipurpose/front entrance area).
After YMCA Staff leaves the building, the following rooms will be unavailable (due to insurance reasons): Front Entrance Area, Outdoor Pool, Locker Rooms, Kitchen, Child Watch
Safety and Security
The YMCA has installed a 24-hour video recording system for security purposes. It will be reviewed on a daily basis to address any security concerns and monitor who is entering the building. Please note that this system will not protect you from harm in or on the building premises. Please use caution when entering and leaving the building. A telephone has been placed near the 24 hour entrance in case of emergency. The Y’s address and emergency phone numbers are posted near phones for easy access. In the event of an emergency, immediately dial 911. The Towanda Fire and Police Departments will be able to access the building during non-business hours.
Key Fobs and Membership Cards
Everyone wanting 24-hour access will be required to have their own Key Fob for entry into the YMCA during non-business hours. We ask that all members scan their Key Fob when entering.
Fee for 24 Hour Access
24 Hour access to the Bradford County YMCA is an additional service outside of normal membership rates. There is no additional monthly fee associated. There is a fee of $10 per key fob. Only one key fob permitted per adult. There are no refunds on key fobs. If the adult is no longer active, the key fob is deactivated.
If you have questions or concerns about the following policies, please contact Randi Morse, Executive Director, at 570-268-9622 or email@example.com.
The Y is community-based and believes that its programs and services should be available to everyone regardless of their ability to pay. We strive to serve the entire community by providing financial assistance when needed.
